9/11

I've heard on tv and out in the open, "U.S. 1, Bin Laden 0." But I say "U.S. 1, Osama 2. 1 hit on America from Osama, 2 hits in Osama's head from America". The year is 2011 and the war on terrorism is still going. The recent killing of Osama Bin Laden, the man who organized the bombing of The World Trade Center and the attacks on the Pentagon, has left most American's with a sense of renew'd hope and pride of being an American where the scar of fear once was. The terrorist organization of Alkida is still in hiding, and now with the death of their leader, are in jeopardy of being wiped out. The point of the 9/11 bombing was to target our economy and our military leaders. The WTC was the headquarters of many companies and business's and the Pentagon was to weaken the might of our nation. But when an American is hit, we hit back even harder. Here's where the term, 'War against Terrorism' comes into play. The war against terrorism is never going to end. People have a way of bringing back pain and terror into the world due to beliefs and human nature. The war against Alkida is being won, but the most people can do when it comes to the war on terrorism, is merely keep it in check. It's still there and it will return, but we have to make sure that we know what to do when it returns. That is my say on this, 'War on Terrorism'
